There are 3 major reasons why I need to repair my credit now. Besides always considering a good credit score to have been important, right now it is truly necessary.

2. A high credit score assures you a low interest rate. This makes a big difference in the price you pay for any product that you finance, whether it be your groceries on a credit card, or a car, or clothing for your family. You actually pay sometimes more than twice for your products if you have bad credit.

3. I have found that it is possible to repair my credit now. The credit bureaus do not want you to know this, but their records are not very accurate. The "Fair Credit Reporting Act" allows any consumer to challenge his credit records on the basis of "completeness and accuracy". What this means is that if you can find any aspect of any of your negative records to be incorrect, you can challenge it and have it deleted from your credit history. This is a great way to improve your credit score.
